I had bought this projector a few months ago. I must say that this projector has good points,bad points,and a few other points i have to comment on. First for the good points of this projector that i noticed.
Pro's
1. great picture even in day time, could watch it on my wall with no problems in daytime.
2. very good bulb life, it states 6000 hours in economic mode, 4000 in standard mode
3. this projector is 3d ready out the box you just need to buy the glasses for it.
4. the price of the unit can not be beat this thing is wild for the price
Con's
1. no hdmi ports at all, this does not mean that it can't do high def. it is capable of 1080i (with a slight flicker i might add) but would have been nice with hdmi ports on it
2. this thing is so hard to get working with the ps3 with anything other then 480p or s video. I had to buy a 80 dollar converter box to get a signal better then just 480p. but at the price i understand why.
All in all this projector met,matched and exceeded my expectations. For my first projector i can not comment on other projectors. But this projector is all i need, till i upgrade to a better projector from viewsonic. They make a good products and this projector is a great first projector. Highly recommended
